Dinosaur Diaper Cake

Hello, Friends!  I just finished creating this dinosaur diaper cake that will be heading to Kansas for a baby shower in February.

This two layer diaper cake was made using 25 size two Luvs diapers, 3 receiving blankets and 1 fleece baby blanket.  The dinosaurs on the cake board are from the Silhouette store.

The ingredient label was printed and cut using the amazing Square1 printable.  Love it!

The dinosaur on top was made using 2 nine inch baby wash cloths, 2 pipe cleaners, 1 cotton ball and several clear rubber bands.  The eyes and nose were created using Square1 printable.

• 2 receiving blankets
• 35 Luvs Diapers size #2
• 2 baby wash cloths (dinosaur is made from 2 wash cloths)

• Volcano = cut at 4.5" from Cricut Create a Critter cartridge; <Volcano> found on page 50 of the folder.  Gold Stickles added to lava part.  Volcano is hot glued to a popsiscle stick and inserted between blanket and diapers.
• Dinosaur = cut at 3.25" from Cricut Create a Critter cartridge; <Dino2> found on page 51 of the folder.  Dinosaur is hot glued to a popsiscle stick.
• Tropical Trees (two on cake, one is cut with Flip feature) = cut at 5" from Cricut Create a Critter cartridge; <Dino2><Accessory> found on page 51 of folder.  Tree is mounted with foam tape to ribbon and blanket.

Outter circle images are from Cricut Dinosaur Tracks cartridge.  All images have edges inked with Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink.  Images are different sizes, but if I were making this again I would cut all images at 1.75".
